The film is directed by Anees Bazmee and is a horror comedy film. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a remake of the 2007 film Bhool Bhulaiyaa. Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, and Shiney Ahuja were in the lead roles in the film.

It is a paisa vasool horror comedy.” Along with this, he has given 3.5 out of 5 stars to the film.
The film will get tough competition from Dhaakad:
Kartik and Kiara's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is also going to get a tough competition from Kangana's film Dhaakad. Kangana will be seen in action Avtar in this. Both the films are released in theaters on May 20.
Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is a horror comedy film while Kangana's Dhaakad is an action film. Due to this, the film has got an A certificate i.e. only people above 18 can go to theaters and watch Kangana's film.
