Weight loss journey begins like this:
There was a time when Arjun Kapoor could not fit in an airplane seat due to his 140 kg weight, so he always had to take business class tickets.
Due to obesity, it had become his nature to get tired very quickly and to be always extinguished. At the age of 22, he started suffering from asthma.
Once during an interview, he himself admitted, "During my obesity period, I often used to say that I do not want to be thin, but in my heart, I knew that I was lying to myself."
Inspired by Salman Khan
Arjun was working as an assistant to Nikkhil Advani in two films before becoming an actor. To become a hero in films, he had to lose about 50 kg.
In this regard, he considers Bollywood actor Salman Khan as his inspiration who made him believe that after building a good body, he can prove to be a great actor.
According to him, "Salman's statement always boosted my confidence in which he believed that if I lose a little weight, then I too can become an actor. He worked hard on me and has always guided me towards a good body.” As Arjun, Salman not only guided his fitness schedule but also kept tight control on his diet.
Do these workouts fiercely:
Losing 50 kg in four years is not an easy task. For this, Arjun has to adopt a very strict workout schedule with full discipline.
His workouts mainly consist of sets of weight training and cardio exercises, circuit training, CrossFit training, bench press, squats, deadlifts, and pull-ups.
He did high-intensity workouts like Cross Fit for 20 minutes daily. According to him, "If you make your body strong with exercise, then you can do any kind of weight lifting."
Changes made in diet plan:
There was a time when Arjun used to eat six McDonald's burgers at a time but he had to control his diet a lot to lose weight and have a good physique.
According to him, "To lose weight, it is not just a matter of going to the gym, but also a lot of control has to be taken on the diet and if I eat more then I have to make a habit of exercising more in the gym too."

His diet chart was like this –
Breakfast - Toast, four to six egg whites.
Lunch - Bajra or flour roti, dal, vegetables, and chicken.
Dinner - fish or chicken and rice.
Supplement - Protein shake after a workout.
